Is there a difference? You bet.
When you come here, you discover that magic tricks aren't all about top hats, rabbits, hankys and card tricks that your uncle showed you when you were 5 years old. There's no hokey, suspicious props here.
We're big fans of close-up, street magic. In our view, it's the most realistic form of magic out there. We breathe it, it pumps through our viens, we eat it in a big bowl with milk. People take it seriously when you twist reality. Magic can be as casual as the guys and girls walking down the street. It can be as simple as a deck of playing cards, a coin or a bill.
And it can blow people's minds. It knocks their record for a couple of skips, and makes them question -- just for a second -- that there's more to the world than the boring, mundane, everyday routine.
You know that cheesy maxim, "Knowledge is power?" We agree, somewhat. When you get into magic, and start hanging out here, you find out that "how" and "why" are just as important as "what." You start sizing things up differently. Things that seemed out of reach now move to within your grasp.
