Ellusionist Webmaster and Go-to Guy

I first got interested in magic when I was 19. That's when I saw my first 'real' magic trick. From that point on it was a whirlwind of visits to the magic store to see what the latest and greatest magic trick was. I always thought of it as a fun little hobby, but nothing else.

Then I ran across Ellusionist in it's early days, back when Real Media files were the standard. I bought Street Magic, and about 30 minutes later I bought Ninja. It was only called Ninja because there was no second volume yet. I still have the VHS that it came on. I distinctly remember how stunned I was as I initially learned the Classic Pass from Brad, especially how easy the teaching made it to learn. From that point on I was a fan of Ellusionist.

I was always in their forums helping out and posting, and some of my posts caught Brad's eye. He asked me to help out part-time with some technical support questions and a few webpage redesigns as well. I remember working solidly for the entire month of October redesigning the store in time for Halloween and the holidays. I remember that site fondly and I still have it on my hard drive to look at every now and then.

That was over 6 years ago and I look back on everything fondly. It's been a heck of a ride working with Brad and the gang and I wouldn't change it for a thing. A direct result of me contracting with Ellusionist has allowed me to call people like Lee Asher, Aaron Fisher and Wayne Houchin my friends. I've been able to go to Sorcerer's Safari Magic Camp for the past 6 years as well to help out and instruct the young magician of today. Magic has definitely made my life much richer and the only regret I have is that I got involved at such a late age.
